Two weeks to go!

I'm getting down to the home strech now and it has finally hit me that we will be able to see our son soon! So many thoughts of how he will look and what he gets from mommy and Daddy and even Big sister! What type of baby he will be and what he likes and dislikes. So many new things to learn about with a new one joining the family.
It is easy for me right now to over do things and I always feel it the next day when I push it.
Its hard to just relax and stay home all day when we have so much to do.I'm hoping that the things I found challenging with my first will be simply a thing of the past this time around.I do feel that I will know what I'm doing because of what I have learned from my daughter and that things will go smoother this time. But hey, who really knows what things will be like till he is here?
Up late thinking of food again! Better get something so I'm not up all night again. Not that I won't be waking every 2o min. to turn over because of the hip pain! Oh pregnancy is hard work!:)

Almost Time!

Today is January 28th and that means that I am due in less then 3 weeks! My pregnancy went by SOOOOOOOOOOO fast and the end is now near. I feel like I have skipped a few weeks between because it just seems so fast! I can say that I have finally got to the point where I want this baby out NOW! He is so low and it makes it difficult to do almost everything. Did I mention WALKING is on that list! If the car hits a bump I feel like he may just slide right out or maybe my belly will just burst open? LOL I know to TMI right!

Anyway I have been getting alot of pressure and its very low now. I am pretty sure he is in the right position with his head down and has droppped. I guess I will find out tomorrow when I have my assessment and see if everything is still on schedule.

Even though I feel like this baby needs to come soon I don't feel like much is ready for him. Sure we have all the essentials but with the thoughts of moving in the very near future and raising our beautiful three year old daughter Jelis whom has been quite the handfull lately, it all seems like We have alot on our plates!

Potty training has to have been the hardest thing we have ever attempted thus far!

Man I wish there were trained professionals that came to your home for a few weeks or at least till they are daytime trained.

She just has been so darn stubborn with everything and I feel like we are finally breaking through since she will now tell us "Don't get the under pants wet OR poopy"! LOL

I mean that sounds like she knows and understands what we are saying but with two accidents in the last two days where she just stands there in a puddle and smiles at you when you come around the corner? WHAT

I'm sure this is why my pregnancy feels like it started a few months ago. Our plates are so much fuller now and we don't have as much time to just stop and sit back talking about the what ifs and our hopes and dreams for this child like we did with my first pregnancy!

Hopefully my appointment goes well tomorrow and there is still somewhat of a schedule to go by with my Due date being Valentines Day!<3

One thing a small town can be good for!:)

I have noticed that living in a small town doesn't have alot of great perks but there is at least one thing I have discovered they can be good for. And thats small town Dinners!:)

Today we went to a Local burger place called Chatham Burger Best known for its BIG oversize burgers and greek food!YUM Now being a Vegetarian you would think WHY on earth would I like that. But Its there Awesome Onion rings and there HUGE Greek salads that I go there for! I'm sure many others enjoy the same. Anyway without further ado I will post a few pics I took Just so you know how great my Lunch looked today!LOL
And if your thinking I finished this salad you are mistaken! Lots left I'll post the after pic aswell!

Bubble Baths are the BEST!

What a good ole bubble bath does for a peggo lady is wonderful!!:)

Baths in general have helped so much for this pregnancy so far and in the begining it seemed like I needed to have a long bath just to get through the day!

Now its more like my me time. Sure it still helps the aches and pain of pregnancy and would be much better with a good glass of wine in my hand but more then anything a little time alone from hubby and a 3 year old does wonders.

This baby comes with so many new things for us and I hope my daughter enjoys having a sibling as much as I look forward to having and knowing another little addition to our family.

My mind is filled with questions lately, Like who is this little one gonna look more like or will he look like our daughter. Will he be good at nursing since I had so many struggles with my first. How big will he be since my daughter was only 6lbs9oz, will he be a big boy or somewhat similar in size to our daughter? How will my delivery go? Will it be fast with me rushing to the hospital after my water breaks on its own or will I be late and be induced like my first? Will he sleep well at night or my a night halwk like my daughter is and try to sleep during the day? And most of all how will it change our family as it is today and will my daughter take to him or will it be a bit of a struggle?
The only thing that I do know so far about this little boy is that his Mommy will love him and already cares for him so much even though he is still in my belly with 4 weeks to go.
Now to make that BIG decision on which name we will pick. Down to only 2 names but it doesn't make it easier on me.

The Dizzy spells

Over the last few weeks of this pregnancy I have been going through dizzy spells a few days a week.Last week I had a really bad one where I ended up Blacking out completely. I hear this is because of low blood sugar and having a glass of OJ usually helps it.

Today again is one of those dizzy dayz where I feel very light headed when I basically put effort into ANYTHING?Like doing my daughters hair after a bath!LOL

How pathetic am I? Getting dizzy because my daughter needed a bath and a good Hair brushin!

Its kinda silly but I have felt so useless during this pregnancy. Its sad because I was one of the women that said I LOVED being pregnant the first time with my daughter. This time not so much love for it.

My pregnancy started off with a bad start when a few days after finding out I was Preggo I developed something called "Gout". Its basically a inflamed foot and makes it very pain full to walk on. Usual caused by being a middle aged man that drinks to much and doesn't take care of him self! So it was a little confusing to say the least and I ended up walking on crotches for about 2 weeks.

I was also alot more sick in the beginning and felt like every time I ate I was eating Poisson because nothing agreed with my stomach. I lost about 3-6 pounds during that time and gained it all back after the second trimester.

My second trimester was alot better but I felt movements very early on and felt I was carrying VERY LOW! To the point I had to hold my belly while walking up or down the stairs.I purchased a belly belt and it seemed to help with at least the stairs.

Now the finally third Trimester the HIP PAIN BEGINS!! I have to say its the worst of them all. You are supposed to sleep on your left side while pregnant so once the left gets sore I switch over to the right side. This is a task it self.I can just feel everything inside flop over to the other side so hard I have to put my hand under my belly to alleviate some of the weight inside dropping.

I'm sure at this point you probably all think I'm HUGE. But many people say I don't look big at all for the stage I'm in?

In clothes I feel the same way (not to big)But when hopping into the shower (not really hopping more like slowly taking a step in) I look massive! To me anyway.

I'll see if I can post a few maternity pics for ya.

Winter Dayz!

We have had a few good snow falls now and my daughter has been inside alot since it has been getting cold.So I thought she could use some fresh air and get out in the snow.

And thats what we did! We made snow Angels, Played with our wanna be Huskey AKA Vick the Amstaff and I took some winter pics while we were outside.

Here are a few pics I wanna share:)

My First Blog!<3 :)

Well today is January 10th 2010 and I am finally ready to start my first Blog. I'm excited to have this type of forum to write my thoughts, my kitchen/cooking inspirations and of course talk about my 3 and a half year old Daughter. And soon my new son on his way!:) I have been with my husband since the age of 18 so over 9 years. Now 28 years old, I have been married for over 4 years now we have a 3 year old and a baby Boy on the way!
I am 35 weeks pregnant and feeling every week of it at this point! My due date is February 14th.Yes Valentines Day~<3
I have to say since finding out the sex of this baby we have had a tough time with NAMES!!BOY NAMES are so hard! With our daughter Jelis (pronounced Je-Lease) we had her name and even many others we loved before we were even pregnant! It was so easy thinking of Girl names but now with 5 weeks left to go we still have doubts with the two names we have in mind.
Hopfully he comes home with a name when we leave the hospital.

I will try to have a few posts every week. And of course LOTS of pictures!:) I love to take pictures of everything (ex. My daughter & husband, Our two dogs Vick & Venus, My pregnancy, Food, Gardening, Our Travels, Different seasons, and Animals.)
More to come.
